NATIONAL MARCH FOR GAZA - END THE GENOCIDE

Saturday 8 June. 12.30 Russel Square, London.

Join us in London as we march to demand the government stop arming Israel and call for a permanent ceasefire. With Israel continuing its brutal assault on Rafah and the general election looming, lets show all political parties that they must act to stop the genocide if they want our vote.

Meet at 10am at Hastings Train Station to catch the 10.21 train to London.

If you or anyone you know needs help with the cost of a train ticket or is willing to sponsor someone else's ticket please email Hastings and District PSC and we will match you up. More information: PSC Facebook.

    INFORMATION STALL

Saturday 8 June 12.00 noon until 2pm Town Centre. For those who can't get to London's march, please visit our stall. All the usual information, petitions, plus badges, boycott stickers and a range of keffiyehs.

We are partnering once more with the amazing Hands Up Project to put on two plays written by Palestinian children from Gaza and hosting a talk by the charity's founder Nick Bilbrough who will give a presentation on the work of the teachers there, giving classes and holding drama sessions in the midst of war. We will also have a stall. Please come and support. More information: Facebook event page.

PEACE CAMP AT THE HASTINGS GENERAL DYNAMICS ARMS FACTORY
    SATURDAY 29 JUNE - MONDAY 1 JULY

We are organising a peace camp at the General Dynamics arms factory over the weekend 29 June/1 July. The camp will put public pressure on these war-mongers in our midst, and represents an opportunity to educate and organise the anti-genocide majority in our town.

We will have a schedule of events including musicians and speakers, and practical workshops such as learning about non-violent direct action, understanding legal rights of protesters, and banner making. This is a chance to strengthen our community by bringing people together for food, music, children's activities, creative actions and lots of friendly chats over a whole weekend.

There are lots of opportunities to get involved, whether you choose to camp or drop in for a few hours. Camp schedule coming soon on our Facebook event page.
