PEACE CAMP AT THE HASTINGS GENERAL DYNAMICS ARMS FACTORY
    SATURDAY 29 JUNE - MONDAY 1 JULY

Hastings and District PSC is organising a peace camp at the General Dynamics arms factory over the weekend 29 June/1 July. We hope this camp will put public pressure on these war-mongers in our midst, and that it will also be an opportunity to educate and organise the anti-genocide majority in our town.

So we will have a schedule of events including musicians and speakers, and practical workshops such as learning about non-violent direct action, understanding legal rights of protesters, and banner making. This is also a chance to strengthen our community by bringing people together for food, music, children's activities, creative actions and lots of friendly chats over several days camping together! We would love to hear from anyone who would like to speak, perform or run a workshop during the peace camp. Please contact us to get involved.

    HASTINGS JEWS FOR JUSTICE

A new group has formed in Hastings and surrounding areas with a view to promoting justice in Israel/Palestine and in the UK.

'Hastings Jews for Justice' has started by penning an open letter to potential parliamentary candidates for the two local constituencies setting out five pledges for how the organisation would like candidates to behave during the campaign and beyond.

All those who identify as Jewish or of Jewish heritage are invited to view and sign here.

To join the next meeting on Friday 7 June at 6pm please email Kathy Shapiro for the Zoom link.
