The distributors Real Films promote their partner charity organisation on the ground in Gaza called Amjaad. They provide assistance and aid to over 2000 families every year; this year they have been directing resources towards their water delivery project. We will make a collection at tonight's event. Asa Winstanley talks about his new book: How Labour's anti-Semitism crisis was manufactured
Saturday 9 September 3pm
White Rock Hotel, Hastings TN34 1JU

Free admission, free refreshments

Come and hear investigative journalist Asa Winstanley discussing his book "Weaponising Anti-Semitism: How the Israel Lobby Brought Down Jeremy Corbyn." Meticulously researched while reading like a fast-paced thriller, Asa's book details the way in which the Israel lobby deployed charges of anti-Semitism to destroy Jeremy Corbyn's bid for power as leader of the Labour Party.

Asa shows how Labour's anti-Semitism crisis was manufactured by pro-Israel groups.

A Meeting with the delegation from the Shu'fat Refugee Camp, Jerusalem/Al-Quds

Saturday 16 September 4.30pm
The Common Room, 27-29 Cambridge Road, Hastings TN34 1DJ

We are thrilled to be hosting a delegation from the Shu'fat refugee camp in Jerusalem on its whirlwind tour of the UK sponsored by Unite the Union.

This is a rare opportunity to engage with Palestinians who are doing inspiring work in incredibly difficult conditions. The delegation, led by Dr Salim Anati, medical director of the Al Quds Charitable Society for the Disabled, will give an illustrated talk about its work, before taking questions from the audience.

In the current climate of increasingly violent ethnic cleansing, annexation and apartheid, it is vital that Palestinian voices are heard in this country.

You are invited to join us afterwards for a meal, prepared by Palestinian-Syrian Chef Momo. While the meeting is free and open to all, the meal is priced £10 pp. To pre-book your meal, please email knightgill52@gmail.com. More information.
