GENERAL DYNAMICS: STOP ARMS TO ISRAEL
    HASTINGS COUNCIL: DITCH THE LEASE
    LET THE CHALK TALK!

Friday 15 August 8.00am until midday. General Dynamics, 100 Castleham Road, Hastings TN38 9NJ

Join us for a mass chalking at General Dynamics on Friday. A protestor previously arrested for chalking slogans outside the arms factory has been informed she faces NO CHARGES. The reason is obvious - it is not a crime to chalk on pavements!

What is a crime is to arm and profit from genocide.

So join us at the Castleham Road site of Genocide Dynamics between 8am-12noon and we will let the chalk talk!

    HASTINGS TOWN CENTRE INFORMATION STALL

Saturday 16 August 12.00 noon until 2pm Town Centre. Please visit and support our weekly stall. All the usual information, petitions, stickers plus keffiyehs, books, and badges.

    FILM SHOW: NO OTHER LAND

Thursday 21 August 7.30pm. Electric Palace Cinema, 39a High Street TN34 3ER The film shows the destruction of the occupied West Bank's Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers and the alliance which develops between the Palestinian activist Basel and Israeli journalist Yuval.

This film about violent settler attacks on the communities in Masafa Yatta was made possible with the help of consultant and activist Awdeh Hathaleen. Teacher Awdeh, 31, was shot and killed two weeks ago by a settler in the occupied West Bank. Yinon Levi is on a European sanction list for his violent attacks on Palestinians and their property but he has been released from house arrest, citing lack of evidence, despite footage of the shooting being widely published.

The film will be shown in partnership between the Electric Palace and Hastings and District PSC. More information.

    JOE'S BIG RUN FOR GAZA

On Saturday 23rd August (starting at 10am) Joe will be running from Eastbourne to Rye, following the coastal path, which is an incredible 30 miles. Joe is running this to raise funds for Al-Mawasi. This is a major feat. We must go all out to support Joe. Not only by donating to his fundraiser. But also by supporting him on the day, by being at vantage points during the day, or by cycling alongside him or even running alongside him for short periods (or all the way if you're up for it!). If you would like to help please contact us.

The crowdfunder can be found here. Please share widely. Our Facebook event page includes a video where Joe explains his reasons for running. Please like and share.
