ZOOM MEETING WITH AL-MAWASI Thursday 22 May 1.30pm.
The situation in Gaza is catastrophic. Al Mawasi is once more filling up with desperate, exhausted and traumatised families with nowhere else to go.
This meeting is clearly short notice. Sunday's meeting never went ahead as the internet link had gone down because of heavy overnight bombing in the Al-Mawasi/Khan Yunis area. On Monday we received an update: "today was the worst day so far, there was bombing at 6am and the house was trembling......." Read more here (Facebook) and here (Instagram).
We have now made contact with Al-Mawasi and hope to get through Thursday afternoon. Please join us if you can. The Zoom link is here.
Being on the call makes a real difference to our friends who need our support more than ever. Being there for them at this appalling time is an important way to show solidarity and remind them the world has not forgotten them.
