DEMAND EAST SUSSEX STOP SUPPORTING ISRAEL'S WAR CRIMES
Thursday 9.15am at County Hall in Lewes
Over 150 local residents came together in the centre of Hastings yesterday evening to express our horror and outrage at the renewed Israeli attacks on Gaza.
We need to intensify our efforts now to press all our political representatives to take meaningful action to stop UK complicity with Israel's war crimes - to stop arms sales to Israel, to impose sanctions on Israel and to DIVEST from Israel.
In East Sussex that means our council needs to immediately divest all our pension funds from any company enabling Israel's genocidal actions.
Over 600 people have now signed the divestment petition and we are attending the full council meeting on Thursday to hand it in to the council leader.
Please join us on Thursday 20th March at 9.15am County Hall in Lewes and help us get as many more signatures as possible.
