This morning we woke to the horrifying news that Israel has resumed its deadly bombing campaign across all of Gaza, massacring over 330 people as they slept.
The bodies of dead children are piling up on the mortuary floors as, once again, thousands of Palestinians are displaced, fleeing for their lives.
And, with US-backing, Israel is promising more of the same.
We lay the blame firmly at the feet of our cowardly politicians who have done nothing to force Israel to end its genocide in Gaza and across all of Palestine.
For the last two weeks, during the so-called ceasefire, Israel has intentionally starved every person in Gaza, refusing to allow a single aid truck through to the strip.
It has cut off water and electricity and it has killed on average three people a day with drone and sniper attacks.
What has our government done to break the siege and stop Israel violating the ceasefire?
Have they enforced a two way arms embargo? Have they applied sanctions? Have they backed international justice and ended complicity with Apartheid Israel's illegal occupation of stolen Palestinian land?
NO.
They have done nothing but demonise, persecute and victimise those of us protesting the genocide.
This Labour government continues to provide arms, intelligence and diplomatic support to Israel as it commits endless war crimes, while our complicit media manufactures consent with its dishonest and biased reporting.
Now the blood of Gaza's children is on all their hands.
It is too late for words. It is too late for condemnation. Only actions matter.
Arms embargo NOW. Sanctions NOW. Divestment NOW.
