The JNF is a pillar of Israeli apartheid. Learn how Israel created apartheid and the role the British charity JNF UK has played in it. And find out how the UK Charities Commission has been complicit in Israel's policy of ethnic cleansing.

The JNF UK helped finance the British Park which was established over seven destroyed Palestinian villages. One of our speakers Kholoud al Ajarma (pictured below) is a Palestinian refugee whose land lies under British Park.

The JNF (Jewish National Fund) is an organisation that has spent 100 years and millions of pounds uprooting Palestinians.

Our speakers, via Zoom, in addition to Kholoud, are Kathy Brooks (Chair of Montgomeryshire PSC and Stop the JNF / British Park Campaign) and Annie O'Gara (Sheffield PSC and Stop the JNF/British Park Campaign).

Find out more about our meeting and the JNF at our website. This is the Facebook event page. Please share widely

Christianity in The Holy Land Under Threat

Last month, Israel's Nature and Parks Authority (INPA) announced plans to encompass Christian holy sites within a national park. Church leaders condemned the move as part of systematic efforts to drive Christians out of the Holy Land.

"This is a brutal measure that constitutes a direct and premeditated attack on the Christians in the Holy Land, on the churches and on their ancient, internationally guaranteed rights in the Holy City." Article here.

"The Palestinian Thobe: Cultural and Historical Complexity"

Fascinating article showing how the traditional Palestinian dress which features handmade embroidery designs originating in the 11th century, gained major cultural significance after the first intifada in 1987.

The embroidery designs on the dresses vary across villages and each individual dress holds a certain uniqueness and tells a different story about the lives of the Palestinians.

"With time, the thobe began to signify resistance against the occupation and challenged the Israeli ban on public displays of Palestinian nationalism through vibrant and striking embroidery designs of Palestinian flags and maps." Article here.

"A red card for the sporting world's hypocrites"

Ramzy Baroud shows that while the west has imposed a wave of boycotts and sanctions of everything Russian, including music, art, theatre, literature and, of course, sports, organisations such as FIFA, along with UEFA and other international sports organizations, have done nothing to hold Israel accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people. This is despite Israel's intentional bombing of Palestinian stadiums, travel restrictions on athletes, cancellation of sporting events, and arrests and even killings of Palestinian footballers. Article here.

"Rights Groups Demand Israel Stop Arming neo-Nazis in Ukraine"

From the Israeli Haaretz website, this article examines Israel's history of arming both military regimes and extremist militia like the Azov brigade. From 2018. Article here.
