Stop Arming Israel: Week of Action 1 to 7 July

Arms companies around the world are profiting from Israel's occupation of Palestine.

During the first week of July - the third anniversary of Israels 2014 attacks on the Gaza Strip - there will be a series of actions against arms manufacturers and the banks that finance them. There will be protests and pickets against Israeli drone-manufacturer Elbit factories at Shenstone and Oldham.

Since 2008, the UK government has granted licences for exports to Israel of arms and other controlled technology worth £243m. This includes components for aircraft missiles, drones, sniper rifles and body armour.

In Hastings we will be holding our information stall in the town centre this Saturday 12.00 - 14.00, distributing information showing how the UK government has aided Israel in its violence and armed attacks against the Palestinian people.

The Occupation Of The American Mind.

Thanks to everyone who came to the showing of the film 'The Occupation Of The American Mind: Israel's PR War In the US.'

The film showed the power of the Israeli lobby in distorting the media coverage of Israel's ocupation of Palestine. The film ended on a positive note showing a major growth in the opposition to Israeli apartheid, particularly amongst the younger generation, leading to a boost to the BDS (boycott, sanctions and divestment) movement.

Information, including DVD purchase.
