We will be collecting urgent funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians
War Crimes in Gaza For the past two weeks Israel has kept up a relentless, inhumane bombing campaign on Gaza. This followed Palestinian resistance to the violent ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah, Jerusalem. At the time of writing 219 Palestinians, including 63 children, have been killed by this onslaught, 1500 wounded and 58,0000 made homeless. According to the UN and multiple human rights organisations we are seeing war crimes being committed daily.
The Facebook event page is here. Please share widely. The leaflet promoting the demonstration can be downloaded here. And here's an A4 poster that can be pinned up: download here. Please print and distribute

Last Saturday's Hastings Rally for Palestine
Thanks to everyone who came to the rally. There was a great turnout. Speakers gave us the facts about the Nakba (the Catastrophe) taking us up to the present Israeli attacks, making it clear that - the Nakba continues. We were given an account of the role that the UK played in setting up the state of Israel, and how the US has backed it to the tune of $114 billion since 1949. There was a call to support the Palestinian-led BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) Movement.
A message was read out from a friend in Gaza, Raja'a who is a teacher, and a mother of 5 children. We've posted her message on YouTube.
