On Monday (14 July), one of our members received the following email from a friend in Salfeet:
Dear Friends,
Yesterday night Israels occupation forces storming Salfeet at 3.00 morning and arrested MP Omar Abed al-Razek from his home in Salfeet.
They also arrested 4 other MPs from west Bank.

Fundraising Events
Sunday 3rd August. Arts Sale.
Sale starts at 16.00 at the White Rock Hotel. We're asking members and supporters to see if they have any paintings that they can add to our Arts Sale. Help on the day will be required. Money raised will be divided between Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) (60%) and HPSC (40%).

The 2nd Annual Hastings & St. Leonards Music Awards 2014. More information to follow.


The Palestine Solidarity Campaign will be part of this years Coastal Currents. 2, 3 and 4 September. The exhibition will be open throughout the festival 6pm - 11pm (afternoon openings to be notified).
Exhibition and displays: art, film, photography and infographics. Venue: White Rock Hotel, White Rock, Hastings TN34 3JU.
In the evenings: Tuesday 2 September: Celebration of the Freedom Theatre of Jenin.
Wednesday 3 September: Oscar-nominated feature film OMAR
