    'Not In Our Name'
'My family village in Palestine was stolen and turned into a British Park'

Our meeting at the White Rock Hotel (and online) revealed the role that the little known JNF has played in the building of Israeli apartheid. The JNF (Jewish National Fund) has played an integral part in Israel's policy of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

One of our speakers, Dr. Kholoud al-Ajarma, described how her grandmother Fatima fled Zionist militias with her four children in fear of their lives during the Nakba in 1948, fully expecting to return one day. But instead, her village was bulldozed to make way for the building of a park, the British Park.

It's important that the role of the JNF is better known. In our report of the meeting we show how we can make a difference by declaring 'not in our name.'

More hypocrisy following the Ukrainian conflict

Jonathan Cook shows how some social media platforms have changed their policy on hate speech and incitement so that Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp can now allow threats of violence against Russians. He compares this with the special protections put in place by tech firms to block criticism of Israel and Israelis. Article here.
