 The 70 year Israeli destruction of Palestine.
This year marks 70 years since the Nakba ("The Catastrophe") - when around 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes during the creation of the state of Israel. 500 villages were destroyed, and their inhabitants never allowed to return. Militias, who later became the "IDF," committed massacres.
70 years of ethnic cleansing has led to the apartheid reality of today.

 'The Great March of Return' - calling for the return of Palestinian land.
There are over 7 million Palestinian refugees around the world, many live in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria. The number that Israel will allow to return: 0.
People throughout the world will have been appalled at the 'shoot to kill' policy of the Israeli military against unarmed protesters in Gaza. To date, 40 protesters (including journalists and children) have been killed by Israeli snipers at the 'Great March of Return.'. A further 5,500 protesters have been injured; over a third with live ammunition.

17-year-old Ahed Tamimi sentenced to 8 months in prison.
"Today's sentence is another alarming example of the Israeli authorities' contempt for their obligations to protect the basic rights of Palestinians living under their occupation, especially children. Action on Hastings seafront - we were opposing the use of killer drones - mainly used by Israel, UK and US. Since 2008, Israel has killed at least 1550 people in Gaza using militarised drones.
