Meeting with Tom Suárez, author of "State of Terror: How terrorism created modern Israel."

We had a very successful meeting - a good turnout and a very lively discussion. Tom demonstrated the level of brutality and terror used in the establishment of the state of Israel. Terrorism was used by the Zionist gangs against anyone who got in their way - Palestinians, the British, members of the Jewish community. He pointed out that this is not a religious war, but a colonial, settler project. The 2-state solution is a fantasy, kept alive to ensure a never-ending bogus peace process. It has become impossible with the apartheid system so entrenched in Israel. The only possible solution can be a single, democratic, secular state of equals. Hastings Online Times article.

We highly recommend Tom's book 'State of Terror' to everyone who wants to understand the brutality used in the setting up of Israel - and still being used against the Palestinian people today. For anyone who missed the talk, this is a video taken during Tom's recent tour of the US.

Saturday information stalls in Hastings

We've run weekly information stalls in Hastings Town Centre opposite Lloyds Bank every Saturday 12.00 'til 14.00 (2 pm) since 2014. This winter we've decided to set up the stall depending on the weather prospects - when it's raining/sleeting/very cold very few people are around in the town centre! Each week we'll decide on the Friday whether to go ahead or not - 'phone number to ring to find out: 07854 486794. Back to normal in the Spring.

Please come along to say hello and support us: any amount of time is appreciated.
