    Vigil for Gaza

Thanks to everyone who came to support the vigil to mourn and commemorate the lives of the 16 children - aged between four and 18 years old - who were murdered by Israel in the recent bombing campaign against Gaza. We read their names and displayed their photos because our complicit media refuses to report this disgraceful slaughter. We thought of all the young people in Gaza whose childhoods have been forever changed by another terrifying assault against them. Facebook post.

Sadly the death toll of children rose to 17 when 10 year old Layan al-Shaer succumbed to the wounds she sustained after Israeli missiles hit a residential neighbourhood in the city of Beit Hanoun. Gaza Girl Succumbs to Wounds.
