The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill
Defend the Right to Protest - Kill the Bill
Saturday April 10. 2.00pm. Alexandra Park, by the war memorial

The new Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill is an assault on democratic rights and a threat to every campaign. It gives the police the power to ban protests, including if the noise is "seriously disruptive". This new law is designed to prevent effective movements like Black Lives Matter, Extinction Rebellion - and groups like the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (i.e. us!).
Facebook event page.

Please join us and other activists in the park tomorrow to take a stand against this threat to our civil rights - we will be holding placards, signs and flags for a one minute silent protest.
