Thanks to everyone who came to the meeting - part of the 'From Balfour to the Nakba: Week of Action.' Salma gave an overview of international law and human rights in regard to the laws that uphold the Israeli state, including the laws that amount to racial discrimination and target Israel's Palestinian population. There was a lively, wide-ranging, discussion afterwards which included the issue of the One State Solution against the Two State Solution; and the issue of anti-semitism (and its misuse). Tom Suárez' book 'State of Terror,' details the extreme violence behind the setting up of the Israeli state, and the racism involved. Predictably, the pro-Israel groups have been trying to shut Tom Suarez up - to the extent of getting his meetings banned. This is part of a concerted campaign to silence the Palestine support movement. We can think of 9 meetings that have been banned over the last few months (they tried to ban one of our meetings in Hastings). Tom Suárez' account of the

We run the information stall every Saturday 12.00 'til 14.00 (2 pm) in Hastings Town Centre opposite Lloyds Bank.
Please come along to say hello and support us. You don't have to come every week or stay for two hours but any time is appreciated.
