Our April 15th film show and meeting will feature "Children in Chains" by Jonathan Pullman (37 minutes). Palestine Prisoner Day falls on April 17 so the meeting will include the theme of political prisoners.

Yousef Al-Helou a journalist from Gaza will be talking and showing documentaries he made in Gaza.

We will be publicising the April meeting, the issues behind it, engaging with the public etc. We hope to have audio, visuals, banners and flags. Please come and support us, even if you can make it only for a while.

Hastings Independent. The newly launched Hastings Independent plans to do write-ups of our April meeting and an article about the Southern Water/Arad saga - which now includes the organisation Groundwork.

'The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists' To commemorate Robert Tressell 100 years after the first publication of 'the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists,' an event has been organised at the Jenny Lind Saturday 26 April. David Rovics from Portland, Oregon will be playing. The organisers have asked for a "rousing 5 minute speech" before each set. One "rousing 5 minute speech" - about occupied Palestine - will be given by PSC member Gill Knight. Please come along to give her loads of support.
