Talk and Film Show: 'Boycott'
Wednesday 25 January 7pm   The Pig, 37 White Rock, Hastings TN34 1JP
Free Entry.

A chance to find out about BDS/Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions with our speaker Zeyn Mohammed, coordinator of the UK 'Right to Boycott' campaign.

Boycotts have been a powerful tactic of solidarity in many campaigns but there are attempts to undermine and even outlaw the boycott of Israel. The film 'Boycott' shows the fight against US legislators' attempt to penalize individuals and companies that support BDS. There are clearly parallels with the UK in light of the government's anti-BDS legislation, and other plans to limit the right to protest.

Come along and find out why the global boycott movement is so important to the fight for Palestinians rights.

Israel was never a democracy, so why is the West lamenting the end of a 'liberal' state?

Dr Ramzy Baroud shows that the extremist Israeli government that has been sworn in is the most rational outcome of the West's blind support for Israel over many years. 'In truth, Israel has not changed much since 1948, either in its own self-definition or in its treatment of Palestinians.' Article here.
